#22502 I hate the fact that newer supercars are ditching their V8's in favor of turbo-charged V6's. First Ford did it with their GT, now Audi's doing it with the R8. Not that I can afford any of those cars, but it was nice to know that there was a massive V8 under that hood. Now its going to be all whiny noises

It redistributes wealth on a massive scale, dictates what producers can produce and what consumers can consume, and controls the prices at which production and consumption occur. What right does anyone have to take away money that someone else worked hard to earn? None. And think about what the state would be doing if it tells people what they should and shouldn’t make and what they should and shouldn’t buy and at what prices. It’s basically putting a gun (government = gun) to everyone’s head to control their behavior, which destroys people’s passion for life because they wouldn’t be following their own values and making their own decisions. It destroys people’s ability to think and innovate. In fact, the only difference between Socialism and Fascism is that with Socialism the state exerts its control primarily through its ownership of the means of production, whereas with Fascism control is exerted primarily through regulation.
