I'm a guy and I've lived with two male roommates since last August, and I've had a secret crush on one ever since. I badly, badly want to confess my love, but I can't come out to him like that.

I'm debating between living off-campus or staying in a dorm for my first year. I want my own apartment, but I don't want to feel isolated. What should I do? Is it hard to find an apartment off campus but nearby?

I remember one time in middle school I was asked to write something out on the board, I don't remember what that class was about or anything, but I had to include the word "February" and I had accidentally misspelled it. But instead of correcting me the teacher makes me stand there while other people offer suggestions of how it's spelled, and this was an honors class but that word eluded us. The second time I wrote it she went "try again" and the third time it was right but she said nothing and mad no gesture it was right, so my classmates continued volunteering suggestions and after ten minutes of wasted time she sent me to sit down she was like "Oh and you got it right the third time." before just moving on to whatever else she was talking about. I had completely forgotten until I smelled a candle just like the ones she burned in her room to cover up the smell of cigarettes....
