I have a problem with accepting compliments of any kind, and I feel like it gives people the wrong impression. If a guy hits on me too blatantly, I almost literally run away because I feel so awkward. If someone says they like my outfit, I mumble a thank you and stare at them. I feel socially retarded. Even worse, I feel like people confuse my awkwardness with being standoffish.
