Anyone else feel like their roommate is in the closet?

Tonight I realized that I will always just be a hook up and nothing more then that. I thought this guy was going to be different but he just turned out to be like all the others. I'm sick of feeling like a piece of trash and I don't know how not to.

And girls, just my point of view, but if you want a man, you need a man who has the balls to talk to you first. That takes courage. If he has that kind of confidence in a social setting, he's probably been laid a few times, and knows how to fuck.

So I'm in ROTC. I have romantic feelings for my commanding officer. He's only a few months older than me and there are no rules against dating. We only ever talk about school and ROTC. He's a great guy and I'm not sure if I should ask him out or not. Any Advice?
