Last night i had a terrible dream where I tried to resuscitate my friend, A, who i had seen and talked to, just hours ago. It was a phone call from another friend who told me to go check on A. It made no sense to me why, after just a few hours, that she would be dead. When i did, there she was dead on the floor with a pen in her hand. No blood on her, just the pen and her unbreathing body. It was there i began to do mouth to mouth. I called 9-1-1. It felt like a lifetime of trying to get her to wake up. Nothing worked. Finally, the ambulance appeared. I didn't know how or what to feel. They came in and continued to try resuscitating her. to no avail, she did not wake up. The medics talked to me, but it was all just fluff to me. I was later assured by people that she was in a better place and she's not hurting anymore. But it was the regret of not being there when she did die that got me the most. Then, I finally woke up from this dream, crying.

To say the least. Make sure to keep you friends and family close, always check in on them and make sure you tell them you love them, you'll never when they'll die.
