i wish it was possible to send a text saying exactly what you want to get off your chest, but then have the option to take it back if it blows up in your face or let it be if you received the response you were hoping for.

To all you 21 and over individuals partaking in Tequila Sunrise this upcoming weekend:
1. Please be safe, alcohol poisoning is not fun. Plus no one wants to be cleaning up your vomit at 7am.
2. Keep hold of your personal items. Chances are the amount of phone calls the following day asking if we have your iPhone or purse will get old VERY fast.
3. I highly recommend using cash to purchase anything. Saves you the trouble of worrying about losing your ATM card.
4. Do not be an asshole to the door men, bartenders and cocktail waitresses who are working the event. We wish we could be celebrating as well, but chances are we are working straight through from the shift the night before and we have not been able to take a power nap to prepare for the drunken madness.
4. On that note... If you do purchase alcoholic beverages, please tip the bartender or cocktail waitress. We are essentially obligated to work Tequila Sunrise and it would be great to make some money.
5. Do you not try coming downtown if you are under 21 and have a friends ID or it is fake. Save yourself the legal trouble of dealing with cops and potentially jeopardizing the businesses of Downtown Flag. Getting taken away in the Drunk Tank would not be a good time.
6. Most of all have a good time. The biggest entertainment for the sober employees will be observing the drunken stupidity.

A few ago when I attended NAU I was raped by a guy I thought was my best friend. I reported it but they couldn't do anything and whenever I saw him I could see in his eyes that he knew he did something horrible.
