I spend a lot of time on the internet. It has come to the point where I no longer care for anything besides my social life on the internet. I know I know, this sounds pathetic. I don't even hang out with my IRL friends anymore. I would rather be in a relationship with a girl I met online than with anyone of my classmates. My dependency on this little laptop has evolved into such a problem and I know I should care about this, but I have honestly never felt as accepted.

It's so awkward when I turn in my final, and then the professor and I make eye contact for the last time. What do I do? A handshake? a hug? Say "have a nice winter?" A sensual kiss to the forehead? TELL ME WHAT YOU WANT. I'M CAN'T READ MINDS, DAMMIT!

Many years ago I called off my engagement. Since that time I've moved on in many ways, dated a few others, spent plenty of time on my own to gain a better sense of who I am. I couldn't help myself when I truly fell in love with my partner. We love each other. Deeply. Honestly. Better than I would've thought possible, especially given my past circumstances. All I want is to be with my partner for the rest of our lives.
I feel superficial wanting to wear a diamond ring but I want us to be married. I'd walk the aisle tomorrow if given the chance.

One night while my boyfriend was drunk he celebrated breaking the seal by saying, "release the river!" Much to my chagrin and his I didn't get the reference. Since then he has educated me thoroughly by watching all three Lord of the Rings. The Ents are badass and I am more attracted to him now then ever!

I believe I graduated from NAU a better person than I started. NAU gave me an excellent education, but also taught me about how necessary humility is. It taught me the joy of figuring things out for myself instead of just waiting for someone to tell me. Flagstaff taught me to love my surroundings, and find happiness in being alone with nature, and that I don't need a distinct identity or crowd to understand myself. I know NAU has undergone a lot of changes since I was a student just under two years ago, but I hope students still benefit from the uplifting environment and supportive community that I grew to know and love.

What a great day to leave. Well, it would be if my roommate could stop snoring. Seriously, he's snored before, but this is a whole new level of snore. I actually woke up thinking that he was blowing his nose, but nope, he is just trying to keep me up all night. And even when I try to "subtley" wake him up with my alarm, he just gets louder. I may actually be in hell -_-

I'm facing the possibility that I'm not going to be able to come back to NAU next semester. I won't let this happen and will do anything to ensure that it doesn't. My families financial situation is also in the toilet right now and yet I came up with some realizations today:
1) Everthing is going to not just be fine, but great for me and my family
2) From this point on I will not let anything make me sad or stressed. I will NOT let the World continue to knock me down. I WILL be happy even in the worst of my life, even now.
3) I WILL return to NAU next semester
4) I WILL NOT play by the rules if it means they are hurting the ones I love
5) I will NEVER give up!!!!!!!!!!
