Okay. So I met a guy at a bar, he was talkative and out going. We really hit it off. He texts me and we chat all day and he asks me out on a date. Of course I day yes and then start to just do some general background on him and find that he has a girlfriend of almost five years. I obviously cut it off and haven't talked to him again but my question is should I tell his girlfriend or just let it go?

A word of advice: don't ever get back with your ex. Especially more than once. I might be the only person alive stupid enough to do this, but in case someone else out there is struggling with the same thing, don't do it. It's not worth it. I know there's that stupid saying about letting them go if you love them, but it's a load of crap. If it didn't work the first time, there's a 95% chance it won't work any other time; and let me tell ya, that 5% is not worth suffering over when you could be finding someone better.

I'm starting to reconsider this whole wife and kids thing in the future. Instead I think i'll just have a big ol ranch full of animals. That way I won't be lonely and I can't get my heart broken. Seems like a solid plan.
