I was born and raised in the Philippines and though I feel so blessed to escape the life in my home country, it breaks my heart seeing my home land suffering in this freak super typhoon (the strongest one to hit the world for 2013). I can't help but cry and wish I could do something to help my fellow countrymen. And before you judge me, my parents insisted to live in the US and I had no choice but to say yes.
