I have more of a question rather than a confession:
How does you distinguish the difference between an emotionally/verbally abusive relationship and being overly dramatic/sensitive?

I can't tell if I'm taking the things he says too seriously or if they are in fact hurtful and abusive words.

My girlfriend from out of state visited me this weekend, and needless to say, after two months without seeing eachother, we couldnt have asked for a better weekend. The thing is, that whenever she leaves back home it always spirals downward. First comes the "I miss you already" stage, then its the "my life fucking sucks because youre the only thing that makes me happy" stage, and then its the "youre talking to some girl that i dont know, tell me who she is or i'll slit her throat" stage. After spending freshman year of this and this semester, im really considering leaving her. We've been together so long but i dont want to hurt her because I feel like she would kill herself. What the hell should I do?
