I just got back from a date with a guy who's 4 years younger than me. He had to have been the sweetest guy I've ever been associated with. I invited him to stay the night over but said he had to go back to his dorm and he said "but next time". Do you think he wants to see me again?

Personally, I don't think it is a big deal to expect sex from my girlfriend if I do everything I can to be a good boyfriend.

I had a nice discussion about people with handicaps or metal disabilities with my girls tonight. One girl was talking about this boy she knew with a disability she couldn't put a name on but talked about his mood swings and repetitive tendencies and I knew what it was but my other friend said it out loud. Tourette's. My first and only true love was a guy with Tourette's and this girl was talking about this kid she knew like he was a freak even though she said she felt like she was good at treating everyone as "equals". People need to learn to recognize their words and actions. Just because someone isn't like you doesn't mean they get any less hurt by people mislabeling them because you don't know them.

that awkward moment when you wake up in the middle of the night, and you hear the neighbors who you thought were chill talking shit about you and you just don't give a fuck about people anymore because the majority of them are lying backstabbing cunts

Shortly before the start of my Senior year of high school, I went in for a regular check up that lead to shit ton of testing. And was hit with something I didn't expect...The fact that I'm dying. I thought for weeks about the treatments. I looked at the options I was given and the side effects and cost of the entire process.... I came to the conclusion that I would be absolutely miserable. It's not the idea that I'm going to be in debt from all of the hospital bills that makes me not want to take the treatment, but the idea of sitting in a room alone and hoping that it'll all pay off. Knowing that while I'm scrolling through Facebook and seeing the people I called friends carry on with their lives- I'm in a hospital bed with a needle in my arm.
So I decided my fate. I wanted to go to college. My reasoning for this was:I would rather go to college and be consumed by the amount of debt for tuition and spend my time learning than fighting something that I probably have no chance at defeating. I figured that I'd spend a year or two here then the last few on my own...
But coming up here was the worst mistake I made.I ended up making amazing friends and had so many great experiences. The worst part is that I met someone that takes my breath away when they speak about their ambitions and how much they dream of a family and a career. I made friends that made me laugh till I couldn't breathe, I met weird people that can tell the most fascinating tales and friends that get into the worst situations but manage to find a way to laugh it off. I did so many things that I would have never done a year ago and I love it here... I love everything about this school. Every imperfection and odd trait. I love the stupid confessions you people post and how we call each other sluts and douche bags, not because I'm a sadistic ass, but because we're able to change the connotation of those words with a smile or a simple flux in the tone of our voice.
I learned how to say Hello to a stranger because I love their hat or how the quirks of their hobbies frightens people. I learned how to speak without restraint. I learned how to help a friend with their horrible hangovers and how to run away from the police without getting caught. But most of all, I learned how to love this disease that's killing me because it forced me to make a decision on a whim that changed my life.
I never lived till I came here. I love NAU...

I confess that I'm too self conscious to hold my boyfriend's hand in public. Why? Because we're different races. It's disappointing to see the strange looks we get from time to time. I thought this generation, and those to come, were far more accepting than this. Interracial couples shouldn't be such a taboo thing.
