Not starting anything, just wanting opinions. But how does a white person get offended at race? Y'all have the upper hand in America. You don't have to worry about not getting a job over a white person or going over to your friends house & knowing that their family has been or makes black/Mexican/racial jokes right in front of you. Or really being interested in someone but knowing that because of your skin color dating ain't even an option. How would your parents HONESTLY feel about dating a different race? Do you know how hard it is to date because of that? Not only that but the other person who clearly likes you won't date you because they would be embarrassed to have a black girlfriend. I can't even count the times guys have told me "well your pretty but your black or black girls are hideous, I would never date a monkey, she would have to be a dime" I've literally heard all of these things TO MY FACE. No you don't because you don't have to worry about that. Be thankful for what you were given. I'm sorry that these couple of post offends you but you know what offends me? Being called a slut, people assuming I steal, smoke weed all day & am a bitch. Racism is alive & well. I assume that most like me were not raised to be hold pre-conceived notions about a different race but to be 'cautious' but none the less love every color equally because we don't want others the feel the hatred that we have felt for so long.

I pity the people who take their photos on the rim of the Grand Canyon using it as a cool background for their profile picture. Especially the ones who looked really dolled up and pretending to be falling off the edge. I admire the people who actually hiked down to the bottom and back up.
