My boyfriend confessed his love for me after only a week of dating. My first impulse was to break it off immediately. But, I didn't. I feel guilty because he'll sometimes talk about how much he cares about me, and wants to paint this picture of our future, but I know that this shit never lasts. Maybe he does love me now, who knows, but I know that in a few more months, maybe even a couple of years, he'll be with some other girl. Just like others that claimed to love me. Love just isn't what it used to be.

I really don't want to come off as desperate, despite being a tad desperate. I want love, and don't feel that often enough here at home.

I am transferring up to NAU where my boyfriend has been for the past semester. He is so excited to have me up there with him but having been apart i just feel like i need something new. i don't know how to tell him without shattering his world.

I walked into this guy's room my first day at NAU. He left his door open and he was playing guitar. I immediately fell for him.. hard. But this was different from anyone else I had fallen for in the past. This was forbidden, he had a girlfriend. We got really close really fast. And I just kept falling harder. He played the guitar for me all the time, he was protective over me, and he held me when I cried. It became too much of a struggle. I knew he didn't love me like I loved him so I dated the guy next door. My boyfriend told me: 'I just wish you looked at me the way you used to look at him'. I love my boyfriend but I'm in love with someone else.
