Well alrighty. Sorry for the lengthy post. Let's see. How to attract the right audience. Alright. FUCK THE FRAT BOYS AND SORORITY HOES.
Yeah... So ask me two years ago how I felt about greek life. That would be my response. I never really cared much to "pay" for friends. Pay to be apart of a brotherhood or sisterhood. I mean honestly how cheesy. If you asked me if I'd ever join a house I'd laugh in your face. I thought being greek was just to prance around campus and wear letters to be better then everyone else. I thought being greek would give you the sick invites to the best parties. I thought all greeks dated greeks and that's how it was. I thought that greeks were stuck up snobs with rich mommy and daddies. I hated the idea of it, I would never be apart of it.
So I came to MSU, we had a greek life. I thought, this is a joke. However I rushed. It changed my point of view on the greek system as a hole. The house I am with are my closest friends, and my family. They have been so supportive over me and there for me I am shocked I had such a negative few point on them. Sure some of the boys like to get rowdy, and the girls enjoy going out and having fun. This doesn't make the boys douchebags, and the girls sluts. All of us are doing the same thing as everyone else, just because we are with a house doesn't make us better than you. Sure there are some more fratty men then others, and there are some more typical sorority girls as well. We are not like the movies, even if we wish we are. We simply aren't. In fact most people have no idea I am in a house unless I wear the letters. I believe it's the same for most people. We are just like you. So stop hating, give everyone a chance. I bet you'll find a best friend in one of the houses.
