To the people defending student athletics, that's fine that you like to attend the games, drink, party afterwards, etc. But don't pretend like sports pay for all their expenses; there are a total of 22 colleges who's athletic departments don't rely on student fees or government subsidies for funding. I'm not sure about most of you, but I didn't come to MSU to study football, basketball or soccer - I could live without college sports.
