#24853 I think everyone needs to realize that you can't always depend on others to protect you. People need to realize that your safety is your personal responsibility, not just the government's. The ideal situation is that there is an officer around every corner waiting to help if the situation arises. But obviously this is not possible.

I know some of you are against firearms completely and that's fine, but don't force everyone around you to be a herd of sheep that are defenseless. Every herd needs a few sheep dogs; meaning we need at least a few trained firearm owners around to help defend against those who wish to do harm to others.
