#22561 You know what really grinds my gears? Politics. The majority of the voting public now bases their opinions on major political figures from the posts they put on Twitter and Facebook rather than doing their own research and trusting what their guts were telling them.

We used to live in a country where people wanted to be informed. Now it's just a cesspool of the same monotonous crap boasted by all parties day in and day out in a never ending cycle to make an audience too trusting of their elects and too afraid to make their own decisions. We have become convinced that we must be protected from ourselves.

What eats at me is the fact that we don't even care. We are apathetic to the changes that are going on around us. We can't even bring ourselves to voice our protests for fear of sounding hateful or branded as something other than what we are.

What eats me more is I know that I'm scared too.
