#663 When I was a PF, I thought Macalester would be more politically active. While I'm sure there are people on this campus who get involved, it seems that the overwhelming majority of students here only bitch about injustices and tell each other to check their privilege.

#661 This school's animosity towards athletes makes me sick. Why is there so much hatred? As an athlete, I have no problem with non-athletes or anyone for that matter, unless you have a problem with me. For those who bag on us, have you ever actually tried to get to know us? People say we are privileged, but fail to show examples. If a team takes up a weight room, you would complain that we hog it and get priority even though we cannot reserve the weight room. However, if we were to get our own facilities, that is privilege and is unspeakable! The arguements are unsound and frankly do not make sense to any of us athletes (generally speaking).
