#670 As a non-athlete, I am really surprised at all the athlete bashing on here. I'd love to see a list of the privileges you think Mac Athletes have over everyone else. This isn't UNC.

#667 I have school pride and I'm not afraid to show it. Mac is fucking outstanding. Perfect? No. But brilliant, amazing, spectacular, and extraordinary? Yes. Haters gonna hate.

#666 I don't play varsity sports at Mac, and I don't find the athletic community to be exclusive. Athletes get along because they have something in common: fierce dedication, self-discipline, and determination. International students at Mac also have a community based on something they have in common, as do students taking part in religious organizations, students who live(d) on the same floor, students involved in QU, or for that matter any other club/org at Mac. Here's guessing that people who find athletes exclusive have never tried to hang out with them.

#665 My first year at Mac I did not play a varsity sport. Now I do. Having experienced Mac as both a non-athlete and an athlete, I can tell you categorically that Mac athletes don't get perks. One of my favorite things about Mac is that athletes at Mac don't fit the jock stereotype; we have myriad interests, communities, backgrounds, and identities just like you.
