#1934 I'm so tired of people's attitudes about financial status at this school. It's like everyone competes to be the most poor and it's so irritating. People will say something implying that maybe they had a little bit of money growing up and then follow it up with "but not MY family because WE couldn't afford it" or some shit. (This is not saying that everyone at this school is rich--I know many people did come from financial struggle and I appreciate what those people have taught me) but having the smallest amount of money is not a competition and everyone needs to shut up about it and own what they came from. Having "little money" (especially when relative to so many people, you had lots) isn't a badge to wear with honor that makes you better than everyone, just like being rich doesn't make you better than everyone. I'm so excited to leave this school and stop having to deal with everyone doing this.

#1931 my boyfriend is always trying to act so cool, pretending to know stupid hipster bands or saying stupid shit like fam. he's not genuine, he comes off like a jerk a lot and it's a huge turn off. i needed to rant, sorry

#1930 Anyone else think it's a bit annoying/fucked up that in our senior year of college, they're already hitting us up for donations all year? Maybe if they wasted less money on petting zoos and ridiculous DML campaigns telling us what words we're not allowed to use they wouldn't ALREADY be asking us for more money on top of our astronomical tuition.
