I believe too much cultural diversity is kinda not good. I think that some cultural diversity is good but I believe that when there's too much diversity things kinda get too hectic or messed up in a way. When there is a little bit too much difference I feel like some values start to seize to exist. Minnesota used to be Minnesota nice, but now it's ranked in the lowest for common courtesies. I'm not blaming this on other religiouns or cultures or anything, everyone comes from a different background and from all over the United States and from all over the world. When I was growing up I was taught to say hi back to someone if they say hi to you, and it seems like certain aspects of that niceness is gone. Now Minnesota nice seems more like nice to your face, and mean behind your back.

(sigh) It's embrassing to go shopping for under garments.. Too many girls be checking you out and comparing you to themselves.. (Least I think)… Am I too paranoid when I step into a popular under garment store?.. Anyone else think this too?

I'm a shy and socially awkward girl. I work in a pet shop and every day a Hamline athlete comes in. I know he is there to talk to me, but I don't know how to respond to him. He tries to make me smile by telling me bad jokes about his two turtles, Cuff and Link, but I just don't know what to do.

Hamline:
A place to learn.
A place to grow.
You might even learn to sew.
Sew fabric, sew seeds, sew ideas.
Fabric, what fabric? The fabric of the world.
Come to hamline, see the people of the world, all
In one place, brought together to learn and to better the world through higher education.
Exchange ideas with a fellow classmate, learn about cultures,
Grow as a person.
Come to Hamline.
