Funny how most people who discourage using antidepressants don't themselves suffer from anxiety/OCD/depression, etc. A sufferer has a CHEMICAL problem with their brain, and sometimes a CHEMICAL treatment can be tremendously effective. One can't simply "think" depression or anxiety away. If I hadn't finally been treated with SSRIs, I would probably have killed myself by now. YES I understand that therapy can also be very effective.
