#11372 I think Evergreen State College should sponsor some march around Olympia where we hold each other hands. Just trying to find some way where people of a different race, creed, sexuality, gender, sex, religion, etc. would see each other as equal as we all be marching around Olympia. And if people off-campus want to join during the middle of the march, then let 'em in.

#11371 TW: sexual abuse
Any good books out there about sex positivity for beginners? By beginners, I mean people with a sexual abuse history who have been raised in a puritanical culture who have been taught to feel shame about any sex that's not completely vanilla. I wanna feel empowered and feel really good about my sex life, but I can't just take a flying leap into the sexual liberation thing without seriously risking a seriously bad sexual experience that would (at best) make me want to sweep sex even further under the rug than I already do. I'm looking at a book that helps you take baby steps and work with your mind and how you look at sex. I obviously can't afford a therapist! Thanks!

#11370 It's hilarious how you complain about your study-abroad hosts not using the right pronouns. Your pronouns don't exist in their language. Get over it.

#11369 You are very attractive and I enjoy your company, but you have been married to the same person longer than I have been alive. It is an honor to be your colleague and your friend.

#11368 Okay, I'm trans, and I'm not binary at all. But, shit, this non-binary femme thing for people assigned female at birth is a little nit-picky. I can barely find people I'm comfortable coming out to. I'm not saying 'pick a side'. I'm saying 'be conscious of the space you take up', even if the culture around you isn't actively encouraging you to.

#11367 So I absolutely hate RAD services at Evergreen. They have put me through more bad than good. One of the main heads of RAD completely bullied me and accused me of being a bully while I was explaining that I was being harassed by another student on campus. They forced me out of my apartment on campus with no warning or explanation. They forced me out during finals week when I didn't do anything wrong. They can be very disrespectful towards some students and they need to get their shit together and train their staff better. I love Evergreen but RAD services is the main thing I hate about this place. Nobody should have to feel mistreated by people you think are there to help you. I wish I could afford to live off campus.

#11365 Graduation in Tacoma? I guess nobody told George about the Mud Run. :) No worries, being late for your own graduation seems kinda fitting at Evergreen.
