Can someone please explain to me the rationale behind the ass backward idea that alcohol, the drug that binds to GABA receptors (thus inhibiting neuronal action potential propagation), is regarded as the most socially acceptable drug? It also inhibits ADH release, a hormone that normally tells your kidneys to take water back into the blood stream. Instead, you pee extra frequently, lose an unhealthy amount of water, and wake up the next day hungover and wanting to cry tears that your body can't afford to make. Isn't science fun? Stay safe out there, humans!

Sometimes I think the "perfect for me" guys on campus (The genuine, funny, gorgeous ones) are gay, and that thought makes me really sad. Maybe there's hope.
