There's much to be said for being nice to other people and being a good person to others but when you stop trying to please other people, you start having less shitty friends and less doucey overall people in your life. Sometimes my vision gets really clear, and it seems that I'm focusing on everything and the world is just too bright and well-outlined. It feels like I'm going crazy, or that there's something wrong with me and I'm getting a brief glimpse of the world as normal people see it.
