To whoever wrote "You are beautiful" on the mirror in the Andreen girls bathroom: thank you. I look in the mirror every day to assess how I look. Am I too fat or too skinny? Does my outfit look okay? When will this zit on my face go away? Sometimes I get so self-conscious about the way I look, I just want to curl up in a corner and not let anyone see me. But these three words written on the mirror reminded me that there is no need for that. We must stop comparing ourselves to others. Everyone has their flaws, and if we do not embrace them then we are not different than anyone else. And who wants everyone to be exactly the same? All you need to remember are three little words, YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL!!!

you always need to look out for yourself. when you wake up in the morning the only person you should strive to impress is yourself.

How can Augie still have class while St. Ambrose doesn't?? seriously -30 degrees isn't cold enough?? you can get frost bite in about ten minutes from that!! how long do you think it would take to freeze the doors shut with water balloons???
