A black resource center shouldn’t be built. There already is a cross cultural center that serves all races no matter where you come from. To use resources to create a center for just black students, when they can just go to the CCC is racist to the native americans, the latinos, the asians, and all the other races on campus who make up our diverse student body

Take all the money and energy that is going to the black resource center, and just use it to upgrade the cross cultural center with the same capabilities

I feel bad that I chose another school over this one. Not because I like UCI more (although it is a very nice school), but because I've passed up the opportunity to be able to truthfully say that I live in Middle Earth.
