I have unpopular opinions, and because of that I know if I ever shared them, I would be isolated by my peers. Not that that's a big difference in my life. I've always been alone.

I'm afraid that as this goes on, life here at college and then after into the job field, that I'll find myself old and alone, and I'll be saying to myself "I have done everything for everyone, and have found nothing in it..." I feel that as I progress through college, that I am not growing, but rather, that I'm losing who I am, that I'm being torn apart and made into a machine...

I think it's funny that people are surprised that we are willing to trample each other on Black Friday for sales right after Thanksgiving. If you look closely, we're celebrating gluttony, not gratitude. In that context, is it really such a surprise?

This election cycle has made me realize I don't fit in with my generation it all.
