I thought I knew what I was looking for as far as relationships. One of my closest friends tried to help me get the attention of a few guys who seemed to fit my description of a perfect guy, my prince charming. My friend was there through these failed conquests, making me smile, encouraging me to try again. Little did I know then, the one I had been looking for had been standing right beside me the whole time. And now, after almost a whole school year I am proud to call that friend my boyfriend. From one who has lived through it, sometimes the prince to your fairytale isn't who you think he's going to be. I only regret I didn't see it sooner.
