Until I got to college, I hadn't really thought about dating anyone. Now that I see a lot of my friends with boyfriends, it makes me feel like I'm lacking in some aspects in my life. I have never dated anyone before, but now I realize just how much I do want to date someone. And the problem is, I don't know many boys around campus. Since I'm really quiet, no one really wants to talk to me. I've heard before that it's because they think I'm stuck up just because I'm quiet. Which, of course, is ridiculous. I would gladly have a conversation with someone if they initiated it. I shouldn't be punished for my socially awkwardness. All I want is a guy just as geeky as me in terms of movies and television.

I am a male that loves talking about deep emotional things, especially about other peoples problems. Although it doesn't happen that often :(

Anyone else wish more girls at Fox were like Haley Bellows? She worries more about seeking Jesus in the midst of suffering rather than how her "hair" looks every day. If I had the guts to ask, I'd date her.

No matter what I do, it seems I can't make friends with girls. All the girls in my dorm just seem to tolerate me. I often get invited on outings and such but I just sorta am along for the ride. I know I'm not a super extroverted person, but dang... Literally all my friends at Fox are other dudes. What am I doing wrong? Am I horribly socially inept because I was homeschooled? I wish I knew who the people who are always mentioned in the "Overseen at Fox" page with the alcohol were. I could use some booze right now.

As a female who is friends with several of the men on the baseball team, I wish that those who don't know them wouldn't lump them together with those who do choose to jump from one girl to the next. There are a few genuinely nice and caring guys with girlfriends who treat me kinder and with more respect than many, many other men that I have known. So please, be informed before you jump to conclusions.
