I have read posts on the confession page that refer to sex before marriage as a mistake. This belief bothers me. I view sex as joining two people together. Whose to say someone who has sex out of wedlock love doesn't view it the same way? They may not view it as a mistake. They may have entered into it as a way of growing closer to the one they love, whether we view that as right our wrong they have a right to that. If we judge them as wrong for their "mistake" we are condemning a lot of people. We are condemning our friends and people in our George Fox community. I urge us to all be careful how we phrase things. We need to be a community that encourages being open-minded and loving. That being said, if being pure til' marriage is what God's called you to do in your life, be faithful to that. However, do not assume this is the decision all people, and all Christians have made in their life. I will now get off my soapbox.

I hate it when people are too serious and don't understand sarcasm (the harmless kind, not the vicious kind). I feel like being in college has limited my sarcasm allowance because I am surrounded by people who don't understand it. Life is so hard sometimes.
