I've been so fucking "well rounded" that I don't excel at anything. My degree is gonna be worthless cause I can get through my classes, but I'll never make it in my field cause I'm not good enough.

Could we seriously have a fight club on campus? Cause sometimes I wanna punch someone, and then wanna get punched back, and not get sued afterwards

Coming to College and getting out of the house really brought up a strange trait in me that I didn't realize I would have adapted to. You know how growing up you hear the words "in the REAL world" a lot? How it's a terrible place where you need to learn to take care of yourself because no one else will once you're on your own? Maybe it was just me. My parents drilled it into me a step further, saying that life's always about somebody trying to screw you over, whether it's the doctor, the bank, the law, a boy/girl, etc. That you need to become tough or the world will bulldoze over you like you're nothing. Basically, life is about survival. It doesn't seem as intense as they imaged it into my mind. But to a degree, I can definitely see where life is always trying to preserve yourself. We change how we behave constantly to play through different situations. We pretend we don't care when really we just want to make sure we're safe. We laugh when we feel like we're dying because the world isn't pleased by crying and sadness. I've learned that showing compassion and empathy is a dangerous and vulnerable thing, because it gives others the opportunity to crush you and feel accomplished at you not being good enough. You'll go through pain and suffering and come out stronger and calloused. Getting stuck the first time is a whole lot harder than the second and third time. This honestly isn't such a bad thing, even though it sounds horrible. It's taught me how to brave through when you feel like you can't get through the next phase and find that strength you didn't know you had. GROWING UP IS ABOUT GROWING STRONG. And once we realize how strong we are we are a force you can't tear down.

If I have extra tickets for the commencement ceremony I am auctioning them off to the highest bidder.

I remember all the Ring by Spring and MRS degree jokes from when I was at Fox, but I never knew any girls really seemed to care about finding a guy... Then my boyfriend visits from out of town and gets chatted up by multiple girls in a coffeeshop while waiting for me to get off work. They gave up when he mentioned me, but still- awkward. I promise treating guys as regular people instead of targets is going to lead to a more genuine relationship.

I'm pretty sure the Bon stole my playlist for dinner tonight from my Spotify, but I'm not mad- I'm actually pretty flattered haha ??

A lot of people graduating are looking for extra tickets for commencement and I have a few extra. Honestly want them to have a gladiator battle for them. I want to see blood.
