It really frustrates me that so many people complain about fox and how it's not bringing them closer to God and that it's not what they want "religiously". I personally believe that things are what you make it. Fox IS what you make it. There are many things that fox offers for you to indulge into your faith and truly believe and love. It's not something that can just happen without you trying. If something bothers you, change it? The school can't reach out to every single person and make you believe and make you feel known. Some people it's easier than others, but life is what you make it. You shouldn't rely on other people for your faith and happiness.

I wanted to come to GFU to strengthen my relationship with God but after being here for a year I don't even believe anymore. And I'm okay with that.

I have been struggling with my own demons for years now. I'm desperate to find counseling so I can just talk to someone about it, and I know fox has counseling services, but I am SO SCARED that I can't even gather the courage to go. My friends and family are good people but not the kind that can handle my issues. I'm at such a lost I don't know how to carry on alone.

I feel like I rely too much on my friends to keep my depression in check. Clearly it's not good...but it's easy to do when they're around me, not far off like now.

I am a messed up unit. I need Jesus.

I don't understand why age is the measure of knowledge and experience and that that equals success and respect. If that was true, why don't we respect the old farts in Congress? Anyway politics aside, when people tell me "you're only ___ years old" it's like saying "you're a child even though you're in college and we are going to treat you as inferior because we are older than you." It's not just me who feels this way...others do. I'm just glad I'm leaving soon so that I won't have to deal with it, at least at a university.

I confess that my favorite confessions are about stupid shit and unwise choices people make. We only have one month of summer left, folks. Still time to make some memories we can look back on later during mandatory chapel when we're feigning interest.
