I was the one who all all the food in the fridge and cupboards. I was also the one who let everyone else think someone else did it to increase house tension and shift all blame from myself. Hotdogs and chocolate never tasted so good.

It seems like a lot of confessions (a lot, not all) seem to just be expressions of opinion presented (either intentionally or unintentionally) as whining. Whether anyone else agrees with me or not, I just wanted the general population of those who read these confessions to know:
I love reading these. This page helps remind me that there are other people as goofy, petty, self-conceited, depressed, indignant, racist, sexist, politically correct, stupid, smart, witty, dull, and horribly terribly stereotypical college(y) as I tend to feel (usually not all at the same time, of course. Usually.).
The amount of peacocking that goes on here is astoundingly wonderful. I confess I look forward to seeing not only what the pretentious anons have written up for me today, but those who unabashedly raise up their own egos in rebuttal as well. It's like watching soap opera minus all the boring bits.

I have to confess that I have never met a successful person who didn't have to overcome some difficulty, internal or external, and all you people complaining about discrimination are just digging yourself into the mindset of the needy, hapless, and pessimistic middle class of American society from which you will continue to support politicians and charismatic preachers that promise you hope and consumer goods that promise you joy. But until you look into the eye of the fire and feel the pain of taking success for yourself and knowing you can do it, you will have neither hope nor joy.

I can't wait to go see the movie persecuted.

Well now...someone said it and so now I can. I am proud to be voting this election cycle to continue the tradition that makes the nation so wonderful...to defend our rights (yes you who enjoy the fruits of democracy without even participating) and to let my voice be heard. I am proud to be an American, to be able to vote in an election that isn't marred by fraud like in other nations. I cannot be more proud of my decision to vote.

I opened up an old Facebook message thread with one of the guys I've shared a room/apartment with the past few years and found that our conversation had ended with him saying, "Clever girls are attractive, but raptor-women just sound plain dangerous." I must admit that I'm not even surprised we had this conversation.
