I don't like the Ice Bucket Challenge.

I know it's doing tons of good to raising awareness of ALS and raising money as well... but I dislike seeing so many people who are doing the challenge not even know what ALS is. And when they call people out and say "donate", most people don't provide links to where people could donate either. I also don't want to be called out... because like most of us I'm going to college and don't have an extra $100 to give, which is why I'm sure I'm seeing the onslaught of Ice bucket videos on Facebook from other Fox people. But I while I would have ice water dumped on my head if I'm called out, I would rather donate, and I feel guilty that I cannot.

For those who don't know, ALS actually stands for Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, and is most associated with Lou Gehrig, a famous Baseball player who had ALS. And if you need a link to donate: http://www.alsa.org/donate/

The only thing I plan on doing tomorrow after I unpack is sleep. And maybe get coffee.

Growing up, I thought I'd love having a cell phone, smart phone, then tablet, etc. But now I hate having them because it reminds me of how alone I really am. No one contacts me. At least years ago I didn't know. Ignorance is bliss...it really is.
