I know people like to vent. I understand people have a hard time understanding. But why does everyone like to rush to conclusions? My confession is that it deeply irritates me when people want to motion for summary judgement on pretty much every case here. Either have an intelligent discussion (for which this is not the ideal place/page) or enjoy it as entertainment, and please, show yourself to be competent by NOT rushing to conclusions about people's lives and situations.

I hate how homophobic so many people on this campus are. I thought this was a quaker school. It's 2014... why don't you start treating people equally. Instead of making your opinion the center of attention why don't you think about how other people feel when you make fun of something that they can't help being? Nobody wants to live in a constant state of hating something about themselves that they can't change. Before you say something hurtful, even just to your friends, think about how you would feel if every single day, people made fun of you for something you can't help. It doesn't feel good, trust me.

For some reason, making and maintaining relationships outside of Fox has been way easier than making friends and experiencing community here. I feel like I have been trying so hard but people just don't seem to like me here. I can always count on my friends outside of school but here people constantly blow me off Or just ignore me. It's super frustrating.

I have already hit the so called freshman 15. At this pace I'm looking at a solid "Freshman 120." Curse you 21 meal plan!
