I have the worst roommate. She just told me that she has a heart disease that will make it difficult to live past 20 years. She let me believe this for like 30 minutes before she told me she was kidding. SHE IS SADISTIC!

So I know that there have been a lot of posts about the canyon cat, but this one is actually true. I was doing homework out on the field behind Edwards and the canyon cat came up to me and started purring, I then proceeded to pet him and play with him instead of doing my homework. Love that canyon cat :)

I don't understand why people take so much pride in being "hard". There is nothing great about being "hard" or "bad ass". It just seems immature.

Let me give you some numbers before you start puffing your chest. In HIGHSCHOOL I benched 1.7x, and squatted 2.5x my body weight. I could do 5 full extension pull-ups with 72% of my body weight strapped to my me. When I wasn't working out, I could do 25 full extension pullups without kipping (Marine standard after basic training is 20). I've hospitalized kids, almost fractured a guy's neck, broken their arms & shoulders, teeth. I've had 3 different MMA gyms show interest in me.

But this isn't about me or how "tough" I am. I just wanted to reach all of you. I just hope you realize that all your strength and toughness won't do you any good. Life can tear you down faster than you can build.

You won't understand true strength until you have God in your heart. I pray that one day you'll understand what I mean when I say: "My love for you from God". I believe its called Agape in Greek. With it, you can change so many lives. Fight for something other than yourself! Stand up for what is right. Be there for those that need it most. In the end, it doesn't matter if you're hard or a bad ass. Be remembered for the good you left in the world not the "strength" you were known for. Maybe this was too long, but I really hope it made a difference...If posted.
