I didn't get to pick my roommates this year. And I got put with the worst two people I could imagine. This is an absolute nightmare and I can't move somewhere else for a variety of reasons. I feel so let down by housing and wish I had never come to Fox. Nothing is worth this.

Does anyone have had the experience when someone says you are perfect for them, yet they are not interested? WTF? I have not a clue what to do. She says that I am perfect to date and is all flirty, yet does not want to take it to the next level. Says she is not ready and will not be for awhile. Totally respect that, yet what do I do? Walk away? S.O.S

It's becoming more and more clear that between the unanswered questions and unfulfilled hopes, This heartbreak is going to take much longer to heal than I thought. I'm trying to see the good in all this. It's not like it's messy. It's a clean heartbreak. I have no mixed feelings - I fell hard and I'm hurt. There's nothing complicated about it. I hope that means I'll heal well and don't become cynical about love.

I don't know how much of a 'Good Christian Guy' I come off across as. Maybe it's a lot, maybe it's not, but when I'm taking a dump with friends I've met via online gaming, I don't feel the need to go hard or go home... I just go!!! It was a good 5 minutes until my stomach didn't hurt from the pooping. And you know what? I wish I could dump around like that with my friends here too. Not acting out that kind of number two with our real bodies, but making snake like poopies like that and just being able to laugh at it without worrying about being judged... or breaking someone's innocence. Seriously. It feels like I'm walking on giant turds with some people.
Hope it makes you laugh anonymous poster ;)

I was working the pasta bar tonight at the Bon, so naturally my night was full of "what can I get you"s and "enjoy your meal"s.
At one point this big guy comes around to order his food, and I serve him same as everyone. As he was leaving I gave my typical words "Please, Enjoy yourself".
At first he didn't hear me, so he asked again and I repeated it and smiled. As he was leaving he looked back to me and said "You have a good spirit".
In all seriousness, I almost stopped serving and went around the desk to give the guy a hug. That such a simple compliment could so easily touch my heart is baffling.
I've been having a really rough time lately. These past few days have been filled with pain and regret and fear, not to mention the frustration and confusion from not being able to fully understand what the fuck is happening around me.
I won't lie, I've been crying about it. The type of crying that leaves a man's chest muscles sore and makes his eyes burn. Just trying to process the clusterfuck of pain that's been consuming me. I've been having problems with people here, not to mention trying to reconcile with my estranged father and trying to re-learn how to love my family and people in general.
It's like all the worst parts of my past and my personality are all ganging up on me at the most crucial point in my life where all I want, ALL I WANT, is to change, to love the people and place surrounding me, to become a better person.
So it's been hard. But what that guy said to me, complimenting my spirit. It brightened up my night immensely.
It's times like these I feel like it's sad that people aren't transparent creatures. Sometimes people can never really understand how important the small things they do are to other people.

I don't know how much of a 'Good Christian Girl' I come off across as. Maybe it's a lot, maybe it's not, but when I'm talking with friends I've met via online gaming I don't feel the need to filter as much as I do when I'm here. I swear more (not as often as them, they find it funny when I do, which I'm fine with) and I don't have to hide it when I'm entertained by sexual jokes.
Hell, just yesterday my friend and I discovered an emote spam which made it look like our characters were doing each other. And we did it for a good 30-45 seconds. Laughing and giggling the whole time. It was a good 5 minutes until my stomach didn't hurt from the laughing. And you know what? I wish I could joke around like that with my friends here too. Not acting out that kind of joke with our real bodies, but making jokes like that and just being able to laugh at it without worrying about being judged... or breaking someone's innocence. Seriously. It feels like I'm walking on eggshells with some people.
