Everyday, I wake up, attempting to overcome the physical pain and limitations I experience, just to gather enough energy to move. Once my body adjusts back to the nagging, excrutiating pain, I stand, attempting to keep my balance. I go through my day, experiencing a level of pain that most people will not experience. The hardest part is the constant drained, exhausted feeling, like I'm ready to pass out with every step I take. What's even worse, is that nobody can see all of this, and so they simply think negative things towards me. It's infuriating, I just wish I could explain it, but when your body attacks itself, it's just hard to function daily. It sucks, and the will to live is literally the only thing that keeps me going, and I will never lose that. I just am sick and tired of people's negativity because they don't realize what's really going on for me! I just wish that people could understand.

I asked my girlfriend if I could go snowboarding with her family and she simply told me she didn't want me slowing her down. I hang out with her and her family a lot and I would pay for all my own stuff. I can't stop thinking about how much it hurt to hear she doesn't want me to come

"All About That Bass" is one of the most annoying songs I've ever heard.

I'm afraid to go the counseling center here. I'm not a conservative Christian and I really don't think I can get help with the things I need help with if that's the kind of counseling I will get.

I'm a girl who struggles with huge insecurity, even though I do quite well academically, have a lot of friends, and People tell me I'm beautiful. It sounds like I'm showing off, but honestly, I feel so poopy about myself sometimes. There's this guy I've had a huge crush on for about 7 months, and we're friends, and I think he might like me too, but I'm so scared to tell him how I feel because I'm terrified of what he might say, or what he'll think of me. I've pretty much made the decision to tell him I like him, though...but I'm so scared. I know I should feel confident in myself, but I can't help but feel like a guy will be creeped out or not want anything to do with me. Even though I know that's not true.

I hope that students will become more accepting of our school’s environment. I get sad seeing so many people feel left out just because they aren’t in a relationship, but at the same time I get frustrated when I hear people complaining about it. Sometimes college seems just like high school, but the reality now is that people are starting to get into serious relationships and/or marriage. Most of us are at that age now and it’s the same at any college (this is coming from someone who has been to three different universities.) Personally, I never used to feel lonely or forgotten when I wasn’t in a relationship and all my friends were. Now that I am in a ‘serious relationship’, I’m mainly hurt by some of my friends who claim that I’m a selfish bitch for wanting to spend more time with my husband then them! Because to be honest, when you have a significant other, they will (or at least should be!) your best friend. It’s a relationship that requires more effort and care than a normal friendship would be. It requires more time. And that’s no excuse for completely discounting and ignoring your friends! But if you’re feeling lonely, at least consider what you’re asking for in a friendship. There is absolutely nothing wrong with wanting companionship, but remember that now we are all shifting into the adult-realm that friendships are going to start looking different. Think about the difference between friendships when you were five! Or twelve! Of fifteen! Things change as we age. It’s hard, but it happens.
If you struggle with loneliness, I truly hope that you will find a friend who can help you feel better. I get tired of being guilt tripped for making my husband my priority relationship, and I can’t let my friends shame me for loving him. Just like you shouldn’t feel shamed by them for not having someone for yourself! Friends can be hard to find but if you are really struggling, consider looking for a different group of friend that will suit your needs! Friends don’t have to be the entire world, so don’t feel bad for taking the time to find the ones you will hold close!

I have to cover my ears every time I flush a public toilet. They're too loud...
