I think group projects were designed to make us hate our classmates we once loved

My friend is always complaining how we all act so differently from his home state (Hawaii). He acts like he's from a completely different country and culture when he's really born and raised in America. I understand that Hawaii is separated from the mainland and your culture has a lot of traditions and customs, but most of those customs are similar to ours. And I refuse to call flip flops or sandals "Slippahs" One part of America is not as different from another. I don't know what more to say to him to make him stop.

The Matchmaker's lip sync was amazing, and absolutely deserved to win... but damn, it made me feel a whole new level of singleness.

I must confess, suddenly I feel like... dancing!

I am really worried about a the test I just took because I only got about 3/4 of the way through it when time ran out. I really hope he curves the test or something since not a single person finished the test.

I just bought a new outfit at Fred Meyer because I haven't done my laundry in 3 weeks.

I feel like I know quite a few people on campus, but I still end up alone all the time. Today at lunch for example: I saw someone that I consider a friend, asked her where she was sitting, and then she proceeded to sit somewhere else. Now I am eating alone, asking myself "what have I done wrong?"
So next time you see someone alone, please at least stop and ask how there day has been. They might not show it, but it means the world to them.
