I feel like I am the only person that watchs South Park here.

Stupid parking enforcer people. I'm parking FOUR blocks away from campus in public lots, how the eff do you have the decency to fine me?! AGAIN! For the 3rd time I've gotten a ticket from George Fox, but I'm parked in a PUBLIC lot. I don't even go here and I'm being ticketed by the campus for an unregistered vehicle. THERE IS A REASON ITS NOT REGISTERED! I work here but I don't live here. Leave us alone.

Can you get trouble/be kicked out of this school for being a Wiccan? I'm scared to come out of the broom closet even to those close to me.

I have nothing to confess

I confess that I am feeling torn in two. As Christian, I feel called to help the least of these. I believe that many of the refuges are good people in need of help. But as an American, I find it very difficult to accept allowing potential threat or harm into my country so easily. No; not all Muslims are terrorists. And no, we shouldn't make that generalization, I understand that. But after several accounts in other countries of terrorists posing as refugees, do we just turn a blind eye and offer open arms? If someone gave you a box of apples and told you that one of them was poison, wouldn't you refuse to accept the entire box? I can't decide what to believe

A member of my family works in law enforcement, and because of that my parents have always taught me to respect and honor authority, including law enforcement officials. This person's job is literally to deal with the results of people's poor life choices, so they deal with, and see, a lot of horrible things. I know this person is honorable and many of the people they work with are honorable, so when I hear people proclaiming that all cops are bad people because one cop did something wrong, or was perceived to do something wrong, I legitimately want to beat the shit out them and tell them how wrong they are. These people piss me off to no end.

I could write a long post explaining this, but I really don't think America should let in the Syrian refugees. I grew up in our foster care system - I felt like a refugee myself - and the state couldn't even take care of me (and I was one of the compliant ones.) I can't imagine how our country is going to take care of hundreds of thousands more when we can't even offer enough minimum wage jobs to our high school students who are citizens.
