I hope who I'm directing this towards will figure out I'm talking about him.. But I think I might like you and I wanna see where things go. Things started a little...surprising, but hey, I don't think that's bad :) But I'm terrified of telling you how I feel face to face. This is the first step.

Before I graduate, I would like to give everyone at GFU some valuable life advice. Condoms prevent minivans. That is all.

We are entering finals week, but I am thinking about graduation.
Currently I have a high GPA and will be in honors for graduation. This has been a huge goal of mine in college and now has become an obsession. However, this semester has been incredible rocky and my GPA will make it almost impossible to graduate with honors. Yes, I did the calculations and Yes my GPA this semester will be that low that it effects my next year and a half at this school.

I feel like a failure and I don't want to walk my graduation where my friends will all be wearing cords and I won't be.

What is graduation even like? Do people know who the honor kids are or is it just a jumbled mess? Because my experience in high school was that honor kids were really the highlight of the whole ceremony while the kids who were average (like me) sat there while teachers boasted about the ones who were "going to be successful in life". I just don't want to repeat high-school. I also want to think positively about this, but feel like I have tried so hard to get to this point and now I'm hopeless.

Does anyone have any advice?

I have gone to Shalom for the past two weeks, and I have to say I am blown away by the student who has been leading it. Her presence, sincerity, and natural leadership are tangible and surpass anything I would expect for a person our age. She most certainly has a bright future ahead of her. Keep up the great work!

People are so mad at each other about politics in this country that I fear we're on the brink of civil war- but I wouldn't say that out loud because that observation is so doom-and-gloom-y.

I think "Anacondas: Hunt for the Blood Orchid" must be the scariest movie on Netflix as of now. It's about snakes, which are terrifying enough on or off of a plane, and there's an 's' at the end of 'Anacondas', implying there will be more than one.

I think I've grown more spiritually this semester than I ever have, and absolutely none of it had to do with SPIL. So I'll pay ~$200 in fines because I'm an idiot, but also because we all know that your faith journey is meaningless unless it has been monitored and recorded at chapel.
