Have any of you actually lived there? The rent for a tiny 2 bedroom apartment averages $2138/month and that doesn't include utilities. There's a large sales, property, and income tax that destroyed the middle class and pushed them to neighboring towns in Washington. It takes an average of 1 hour and 17 minutes to commute to and from work. Gasoline is taxed heavily and there is a massive homeless tent city that has replaced the main park in city. Crime is also on a massive upswing and vehicular theft is 3rd highest in nation behind only Chicago and Detroit.

The only people that live in Seatte are multi-millionaires and vagrant hobos. You cannot make it in between.
