As a recent Baylor graduate NOT from the business school, I feel that I should warn everyone that Career Services is an absolute joke. Do not waste your time with them. Seriously.

Those people don't have a fucking clue about what it takes to find a job once you graduate or even what you can (or cannot) do with your degree. They just mix the superficial advice, that they quickly gleaned from Google, with positive encouragement. Rather than give me useful advice, one of them simply reassured me "You seem smart, you'll figure it out...You could just go to grad school"

I cannot stand them because they pretend as if they are helpful and well-informed, while they do not have the slightest understanding about the career field or job market, as a whole. I have many reputable internships, a great recommenders, and the motivation to improve my situation, but I still cannot find a job.
