#2255 The ID scanners to every dorm are more of a hassle than they really should be. After coming back from winter break lugging laundry baskets and boxes, I do not have a free hand to drop everything on the wet and dirty ground just to swipe my ID (and some dorms do not even have handicap doors to help me when I have full hands). Too many people abuse the system anyway by going inside with a group of people or are lucky to go in when someone comes out. Since the doors are locked at 11pm I see no need for scanners.
