To the girl sitting at the table behind me in Davies, I have a fucking midterm in an hour and I'd really appreciate it if you didn't blast your shitty music from your computer with no head phones. Not everyone wants to hear the entire contents of your shitty iTunes library

I am instantly more attracted to a girl when I know she doesn't listen to country and top 40.

I don't know what's so hard to grasp about this concept. If I make you happy, and you make me happy, there shouldn't need to be any more reason than that.

I have a skin condition that causes lots of scarring and it affects mainly my groin area. I'm afraid this is going to cause problems in the future as far as my sex life. It has already prevented me from doing some things with guys because I feel like that's all they will see and not understand that it's not something they can catch and that while it is treatable all of the treaments I've tried aren't working. Talk about low self esteem when it comes to my so called "sex life".

So there's this guy that was easily one of my very best friends and a lot of shit happened between us. I'm bitter about the outcome and the things that happened. But I'm really hurt about how easily he could just check out of my life without a backwards glance. I just really miss my best friend.

Today I was walking and caught myself just staring at my feet. I was perplexed as to why I was doing this. So I looked up as I walked and realized how little I actually have walked around without staring down at the ground or my phone. I looked at the sky and felt a little blinded because it was so bright. As I continued my walk I kept my head up and noticed that almost every person was looking down or at their phones. I made it my goal for the day to keep my head up and not look down(walking up stairs is harder when you aren't looking at your feet). It seemed like a whole new perspective of my surroundings. I would smile at people, even when they weren't looking and I even had a few people look up for a second and smile back. One girl caught my attention on the footbridge. She was walking with her head up and smiling as well. Seeing someone else smiling back at me, and not dropping their gaze down to the ground made me happy. My day seemed a lot better after I kept my head up, and I will definitely work to keep my head up more often. Anyways, I challenge anyone who read this to try and keep your head up for a whole day. No looking at your feet, or turning to your phone just because you're walking and have nothing to do. If enough people try it, you're bound to catch someone else doing it as well. See how it affects your day. Smile at people walking by, make their day. Tell a friend to try it as well.
