Wow, it's like the Tumblr army of white knights congregates here. Yeah, it's disrespectful to blatantly call someone overweight or obese, understandable. At the same time, why would you want to "embrace" it? There's no excuse for being in such a condition. Genetics plays absolutely zero role in it, and anyone that believes it is incredibly naive. A healthy body starts in the kitchen and is made in the gym. There's no such thing as "thin privilege" and when it comes to shaming, I'd be ashamed of myself if I didn't keep myself healthy. Nobody's perfect, not you, reader, nor I the anonymous poster, but there is absolutely NO EXCUSE to be unhealthy and live unhealthy like it's an ideal lifestyle. This applies to anybody, whether you're overweight, underweight, a smoker, or just a regular lad or lass that wants to make some healthier decisions. I have more respect for the overweight person running on the treadmill in the gym than the varsity athlete who benches 190 with no sweat. It's one thing if you make that effort to be healthier, but it's completely different when you "embrace" your habit of eating your way to death or puking your calories to a point where your body can't take it any more. Then again, who am I to judge? It's your body, you choose how to maintain it.

In the 2003/04 school year I was taking a chem 101 in Philips Hall. I went to a evening study session for my chem midterm. There were a handful of people there including a girl I had a crush on. Everything is going well until... I felt my guts churn and realized I have about T-minus 10 seconds to get to the bathroom. I felt the perspiration form on my brow as I calmly closed my notes and nonchalantly as I could made my way for the door. As soon I got outside I bolted, luckily the bathroom was only about 10 meters away. Unluckily, my bowls didn't have that kind of time. As I entered the bath room I was a wash in liquid shit. It was everywhere! It was viscous and smelled like death. (blimpies) As I pulled my pants down, it got on the toilet, it got on my hands, it got on the walls, on the toilet paper dispenser. EVERYWHERE! The Horror, the horror. By the time I left it looked like a stinky French cave painting. What could I do? I washed my hands took one last look at the havoc I had caused. However, now I had to go back into my study session to get my books with the heels of my shoes dripping with liquid human waste. Another problem, my pants were visibly wet, so I wrapped my sweatshirt around my waist walked back into the classroom and avoided all eye contact as I packed up and left. Next stop, strait into the shower with all my clothes on. It seems that the custodial did not like the medium of my art and called the police because in the next police blotter there I was. Not only that but I also made the "best of" the police blotter at the end of the year! I would like to take a moment to apologize to the custodians of Philips Hall, sorry guys. It was a real shitty thing for me to do. Ahahaha

I know this sounds cliche but can't we all just get along? I mean seriously, we're not in high school anymore. College is supposed to be a time where you work towards your dreams and goals, make life long friends, find the one person you're supposed to be with and just have fun! Most people can't wait to get out of high school because they're sick and tired of being judged. It's sad to see this happening here still, we're all adults so let's all act like it!

Can anyone explain to me how to take notes in Professor Hill's Pols classes? He just seems to jump around and make note taking difficult.

Although this is pretty much done to death, people do need to understand that eating healthy and participating in healthy exercises is a very large reason people are happy. If you are overweight an just can't seem to lose it even though you are keeping up a healthy diet, that is wonderful because you are still maintaining a healthy lifestyle. All of our body types are different and all of our metabolisms are different and one thing we all need to stop doing is judging so quickly when we are someone, whether they are overweight or underweight, and assume that they are not trying to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

I don't want to lose my boyfriend... I just come with some emotional baggage... he says he doesn't mind and cares and wants to help me, but sometimes I am still afraid...
