I am all for equal employment opportunity, and I think it stands for great things. However. I believe it is total bull shit that paying students have to struggle through a class taught by a professor with a thick accent, we have to learn to talk, so should you. It makes it so much more difficult to learn already challenging material. There has to be an equally qualified professor that has no accent. At least offer foreign culture credit...

There's a girl in Haas that wears a lot of black. Her long dark hair makes her look like Lorde, but she also looks like Phoebe Cates. i started talking to this guy that i met over facebook this summer who was also an incoming freshman this year. he would tell me that he thought i was really cute and how we were going to be best friends and that he wanted to get to know me more...since i've been here we haven't talked at all and i honestly think it's because i'm not a size 0. yeah i have meat on my bones but i'm a healthy weight and i feel like no good guy will ever see me as something more because of this.

For everyone complaining about being so stressed or overwhelmed with school... if you don't have a job, I want you to shove it. Every working student is doing just as much as you school/organization wise PLUS keeping a job and making money for ourselves. I know everyone does not live off of daddy's money but for those of you that do I don't wanna hear you bitching about school... rant over
