If you see a girl and think she is pretty but do not know her DO NOT just walk up to her and say "Will you go out with me?". Get to know her first at least and do not say screw you when she says no. I hate long distance relationships...

I tell myself that I just want to be in a relationship, and to be honest I would say I'm pretty fucking desperate. I consider myself to be below average looks, so I obviously wish personality was the biggest factor in dating, but sadly I can literally hold a conversation with someone I feel unattractive of the opposite sex for five seconds without turning into a jerk and I can't remember unattractive girls names very well. So basically I'm a terrible person all around which is why I don't try to go after the people I do find attractive. Serves me right I'm a fricken Hipocrate. I guess I just need to meet a better person than I am to help me become a better person cause when I try I just fuck things up anyways.

I am absolutely appalled by what I just overheard in hilltop. Some girl was on the phone, complaining very loudly about how her classmates laughed at one of her statements. This is what it was:
"If people start marrying people of the same sex, they're going to start marrying chickens"
I could not believe the ridiculous amount of ignorance that was displayed here.
Don't get me wrong, although I support gay marriage, I also am very open to people having their own opinions.
To this young woman, I'd just like to say, it is fine that you are uncomfortable with gay marriage, however there is no need to degrade and dehumanize those who are gay in the way that you have.
I'm actually embarrassed for you.
