You aren't living in your own house. These walls are very thin and noise can easily pass from one room to the other. When I play music you can hear it, when you play music and talk on the phone after midnight I can hear that. So accept the fact that it's not going to be dead silent in your room at times you want it to. Get over it! Stop asking me to turn it down, especially when I have never complained to you about the amount of noise you make.
